Parental Alienation Awareness

I just wanted to share with you the fact that our first seminar of the year with No 5 Chambers in London is full.  Tonight we will be delivering a presentation on working with the alienated child, based upon our work with families and a number of cases recently in which we have had key successes in helping children.

There are a number of others planned in Birmingham and Milton Keynes with No 5 and we are also working with other leading chambers to develop our multi model intervention and build the evidence base we have already achieved.  Several key partnerships are assisting us in this process.  The evidence is that parental alienation in the UK is starting to take centre stage, I am delighted that the work that we have done in bringing successful strategies for change to the court process, are now being promoted by legal people working with families in the UK.  We have a busy year ahead of us.

More news on all this work shortly.

  1. Well done, Karen – it breaks my heart, again, every time I think back to the number of times judges and professionals totally dismissed my claims of PA between ’02-’09. Family, friends, work colleagues and everyone else that knew me well lost faith with the family courts as a result…….how many up and down the country felt the same? I have my fingers crossed……..wouldn’t want my worst enemy to experience what so many of us have.

  2. I have just been on your website and I think it is brilliant because it seems like a safe place to be. No matter what your predicament in the family separation saga this is the place where there are safe and re-assuring minds. Child focussed and yet parent caring.

This is a long way from the heady profile of Family Court dogma where issues are boiled down into who is right and who is wrong.

It feels like an extraordinary leap of faith into all that is good about relationships and childcare.

    Thank you for that.

    Kind regards

  3. Support in learning to live with the painful circumstances of our lives is what many yearn for and, from what I’ve seen over the past 12 months (of 15 years), Karen is the only one, publicly, catering for that element of PA. Thank you, Karen
