Understanding Parental Alienation Specialist Workshop for Parents UK

Our next workshop for parents in the UK will be held in central London on December 8th.

This one day intensive workshop is focused upon helping parents to more deeply understand parental alienation and to build strategies for dealing with the problem.

This workshop will also include a two hour module on therapeutic parenting, which forms the foundation understanding and skills for all parents who are preparing for reunification with their children.

This is a new workshop format and only 15 places will be made available in order for us to work intensively with each participant.  Prior to the workshop you will be asked to prepare a portfolio of information for us in order that we ensure that you receive the assistance which best benefits you.

This workshop is suitable for those who are actively in the court process as well as those whose children have ‘aged out’ and are older and still alienated.

The workshop is also useful for those who have reunited with their children but who find that the relationship is still problematic.

In this workshop you will be grouped with others with children in the same circumstances in order to ensure that you receive tailored information.

This workshop is suitable for those who wish to plan short to medium term strategies and is cost effective in that you will receive up to eight hours of input and information compared to a ninety minute consultation on a one to one basis which costs the same.

What people say about our workshops:

‘I have never worked with anyone who cares more about our children than you do. I learned more in a day that I could learn in years with others, thank you.’  Jo – UK Parent

I have planned my strategy and the results are already starting to show, I changed my mindset through working with you both, thank you for helping my children.’  Danny – UK Parent

In one workshop the whole world changed for me.  Now I understand and I know what I need to do.  You made a terrifying experience something I can deal with.’  Andreas – French Parent

Cost: £120 per person plus VAT

    1. Hi Julie, Unfortunately not really as it is an intensive day and it won’t work fully for you on Skype. Apologies. We will look at doing something in NI in the New Year though. Alternatively we have had people come to our London workshops from Belfast to London City via Flybe which can be done in a day. K

  2. It would make my heart sing if you could ever find your way to Ottawa, Canada for a similar workshop. The education is sorely needed here. Thanks, Donna

  3. Dear Karen,

I read your blog and it is very helpfull in understanding and coping with the alienation of three of my four daughters. The youngest one os 18 and the oldest 32 and she has two little children who I have never seen.

I live in Belgium, but of possible I should like to attend your workshop. I think the language won’t be a problem. Can you let me know your opinion on this?

    1. Hi Karen, we get a lot of people from the EU coming to our London workshops, we are used to working with people with English as a second language and are always happy to take time to help you understand the information we are giving. We are doing this specialist workshop in three parts, for those still seeing children, for those who don’t see them at all and for those who have older children who are reunited but still problematic. All of the strategies we teach will be useful to you and with one daughter still in relationship with you we will teach you how to build therapeutic parenting skills to enable this relationship to model a safe route back for the others. So yes I think it will be helpful for you and we are just two tube stops on the tube from St Pancras where you arrive on the Eurostar. We travel to Belgium and can be there in a couple of hours and the trip from Brussels Midi is very easy. Kind Regards Karen

    1. Hi Lisa, we won’t be doing anymore this year. Next year we will be doing four of these new workshops in the UK and we will try to do two in the north of England but we have a heavy travel schedule again next year as we are going to the USA twice. We will do our very best though to do a workshop in Manchester and one in Edinburgh. Very best Karen

  5. Hi Karen,
I live in Bulgaria and I would like very much to come to your workshop. I am currently involved in ongoing custody court battle and next month the case will be heard in the court of appeal as the father of my 12-year old daughter wants her removed from me and complete custody. It’s heartbreaking for me to see the harm that he inflicts on her by making her reject me and creating a distorted reality.
I would appreciate very much if you could advise me how to organise my attendance in terms of timing of flights and accomodation.

    1. Hi Sonia, the workshop starts at ten am and ends at 5pm. When people come in from the EU they usually arrive the night before and then go for a late flight back out. You can fly in from Bulgaria to Stansted with Ryanair for as little as £30 in December, you could stay at the airport overnight where the accommodation is cheaper and then travel into London the next day. You would arrive into London from the airport at Liverpool Street and then take the tube to Russell Square, which would take you about an hour. If you do want to attend this one send me an email today at office@familyseparationclinic.co.uk or book online straight away as we only have five tickets left now. Kind Regards Karen
