Join us for a charity fundraiser for Classrooms in the clouds with a 60-Minute workshop followed by general Q&A
Date and time: 17:00 BST Monday 18 August 2025
Location: Zoom
Facilitators: Nick Woodall and Karen Woodall
Building resilience through trauma is a powerful and compassionate 60-minute workshop designed to help you understand trauma, reconnect with your inner strength, and build real-life resilience skills. Just like a tree bending in the storm, we can learn to adapt, grow, and heal—without breaking.
In This Workshop, you will:
- Understand different types of trauma and how they impact the mind and body
- Discover what resilience really means—and what it doesn’t
- Explore the core elements of resilience
- Learn practical tools: mindfulness, grounding, boundary-setting, and trauma-informed self-care
- Reflect on your own experiences
- Leave with actionable strategies and a renewed sense of strength
The workshop includes a Q&A session with Nick and Karen.
This session is ideal for parents in the rejected position and those who are supporting them.

At the end of August, Nick will be heading off to climb Mt Ararat in eastern Türkiye. In doing so, he hopes to raise funds for a fantastic charity in Nepal called Classrooms in the Clouds. The charity was set up by Dawa Geljen Sherpa, who he met when he was trekking in the Himalayas, in 2023. Dawa’s vision is to support children in the rural Solukhumbu/Everest region to access high quality education in earthquake resistant classrooms. Find out more about the amazing work of Classrooms in the Clouds in the video below.
Help Nick to help the children of Nepal by joining our Fundraising workshop!
