Dear Karen Woodall, I am an alienated parent. My children (23 &26) have in the last 6 months given up having anything to do with me and will not speak to me nor acknowledge messages etc.. I have been reading your book ‘Understanding Parental Alienation’ and realise I have done pretty much everything wrong in my misguided attempts to keep my children from splitting. I am desperate to get some guidance (and help with how I am feeling) and was hoping to get onto one of your ‘Holding Up A Mirror’ courses. However, I see that you don’t have plans for any more of these courses at the moment. Will you be scheduling another such course in the near future? Or should I be doing something else? Getting through Christmas and New Year’s Eve last year was like wading through black treacle in a fog because it was the first year I didn’t see my children for even a short moment and I didn’t get a card or text. Now the New Year feels so gloomy.
I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to communicate with you about personal issues.
