My new book is called The Journey of the Alienated Child, it will be published by Routledge in Autumn 2026.

Introducing The Journey of the Alienated Child

The Journey of the Alienated Child, with its ‘right action at the right time’ protocol and evidence based therapeutic approaches which are based upon the co-therapy model used at the Family Separation Clinic in London, offers a new way of thinking and working with this family attachment trauma which is powerful in the hands of parents, who until now have had to rely upon others to intervene.

    Hi, is it possible for the child to reach integration / stage 4 even if it has ongoing regular contact with the parent promoting the splitting?

    When does the next course start?

    Same question as Cora. I havent seen my boy (14) and girl (17) for nearly four years. There has in the last six months been some contact with my boy including a skiing trip together then it all stopped again. But then my girl contacted me and we have been on the phone weekly and now all 3 of us are going on a two weeks vacation together. But I am terrified what to say and what not to say. Wish I could have some guidance about dos and donts.
